Forged Globe Valve

The forged globe valve is a trusted product for steam pipes, compressed air systems, and process gas lines. These places often need to stop or adjust the flow. The globe valve seals better than a gate valve. The disc moves up and down along the center line of the seat. This creates a high sealing pressure. The result is a tight shut-off.

Chenxiang makes this globe valve from forged steel. This avoids the sand holes and shrinkage cavities that cast steel parts can have. Such defects can cause leaks. The models are J41H, J41Y, and J41W. The body materials are forged steel A105 (carbon steel), F304/F316L (stainless steel), F22 (chrome-moly steel for high heat), and LCB (low temperature). The drives are manual, gear, pneumatic, electric, and hydraulic. The connections are RF, FM, and RTJ.

The hard seal materials are H (Cr13 stainless steel), W (body seal), and Y (STL overlay). The sealing face needs high precision. Our CNC lathes and milling machines machine the disc and seat faces. This ensures a perfect fit. Every globe valve gets a shell strength test (1.5 times the rated pressure) and a disc seal test before shipping. A direct-reading spectrometer checks the material of each batch. This prevents mix-ups. For high-temperature, high-pressure steam, the F22 chrome-moly steel valve offers good creep strength and oxidation resistance. It is a common choice in power and petrochemical plants.
