The working principle of a ball valve is simple and straightforward. Driven by an external force, the valve stem rotates the ball. This rotation opens or closes the valve, thereby controlling the flow of the medium. When the ball rotates 90 degrees, the inlet and outlet are completely sealed by the spherical surface; the valve is then fully closed, completely blocking the medium and halting flow. Conversely, to allow the medium to pass through, the stem is used to rotate the ball 90 degrees; the valve opens, and the medium flows smoothly driven by the pressure difference.
