High Pressure Cryogenic Forged Flanged Ball

LNG terminals, liquid nitrogen/oxygen storage, and air separation units operate at temperatures as low as -196°C. Common carbon steel becomes brittle at this temperature. Regular sealing materials shrink and fail. Our product valve is specially designed for such extreme low temperature environments. We select valve body materials like LF2, F304, or F316L. These materials have passed low-temperature impact tests. They maintain sufficient impact toughness even at -196°C. The product serves LNG chains, air separation plants, and cryogenic gas storage. It handles compressed air, natural gas, LPG, nitrogen, oxygen, hydrogen, and various process tail gases. Our models include Q347PCTFE, Q41PCTFE, Q647PCTFE, Q947PCTFE, and Q347Y.

Our high pressure cryogenic forged flanged ball valve uses an extended bonnet design. This design keeps the packing box away from the cold zone. It prevents the packing from freezing and losing its seal. The valve body has a pressure relief hole. This hole prevents cavity pressure buildup from media vaporization. Drive options include manual, worm gear, pneumatic, electric, or hydraulic. Connections are RF, FM, G, M, or RTJ. The structure is floating ball or trunnion ball. Trunnion types meet DIB-1 and DIB-2 standards. We use PCTFE as the soft seal material, which is specially designed for low temperature service. Hard seal materials include Ni60, STL, WC, and CRC. Our factory has a low-temperature test tank. Before shipment, we randomly select samples from each batch. We soak these samples in liquid nitrogen and then perform seal tests under cryogenic conditions. Each product valve comes with a low-temperature test report and a material impact test report. These reports confirm that the material toughness meets design requirements at low temperatures.
