Heat exchange station regulation in urban central heating systems, jacket temperature cascade control for pharmaceutical reactors, and variable-flow management in central air-conditioning systems all have one thing in common: the valve does not simply switch between "open" and "closed," but instead remains in a continuous regulating state at a small opening for long periods.
This electrically operated ball valve from Chenxiang is designed precisely for such dynamic regulating conditions. Its electric actuator is tested on a dedicated test bench that simulates load torque from 0 to 2,000 N·m. The measured control deadband can be stably maintained within ±0.5%, meeting process requirements that are sensitive to flow response accuracy.
The electrically operated ball valve is available in both on/off and modulating types. The modulating type supports standard 4–20 mA or 0–10 V signal input and can be directly integrated with DCS and PLC systems.
Unlike the forged steel version, which focuses more on high-pressure structural performance, this valve places greater emphasis on electrical reliability during long-term regulating operation. Before leaving the factory, each unit undergoes a 48-hour aging test, as well as an additional 500 continuous open-close cycles to verify the repeatable positioning accuracy of the limit switches, with a measured deviation of ≤ ±0.15°. At the same time, a megohmmeter is used to test the insulation resistance of the motor winding on each unit, helping ensure there is no risk of electrical leakage in humid, hot, or dusty environments.
The valve body and sealing materials cover commonly used domestic and international stainless steels, alloys, and special hard alloys. Soft and hard sealing options are available to suit water, steam, oil products, weak acid and alkali media, and process gases.
Connection types include RF, FM, G, M, and RTJ. Structural options include floating ball valves and trunnion-mounted ball valves, including DIB-1 and DIB-2 designs. The pressure range is PN16–PN420, equivalent to Class 150–2500 LB, with nominal diameters from DN15 to DN500, or 1/2" to 20". The operating temperature range is -29°C to 500°C, with a targeted improvement in the upper heat-resistance limit compared with products in the same series.
Chenxiang provides CE certification and a Low Voltage Directive compliance declaration for this electrically operated ball valve. Each unit comes with a wiring diagram and commissioning manual, and remote video guidance is available for on-site wiring and parameter setting to help ensure successful system commissioning on the first attempt.
